Prima Materia is a Latin term that translates to "first matter" or "primary matter." It refers to the primordial, undifferentiated substance that alchemists believed was the raw material from which all things in the universe were created. In alchemy, it was seen as the fundamental essence of the universe, and it was often considered the source from which both the physical and spiritual aspects of the world originated.
